A fascination for nature,its beauty, mystery and complexities, lures Dianne to the outdoors with her camera. Dianne began her passion for photography as a youth in the mid 1960's growing up in South Carolina.Her passion for nature photography blossomed in the mid 1990's. Attending weekend photographic seminars featuring world renowned nature photographers, participating in photo club activities, reading photographic journals and experimentation with many different techniques has taught Dianne her photographic skills. Digital capture, using a Canon 20D, of wildflowers, wildlife, waterfalls and mountain scenery are Dianne's favorite photographic subjects. Dianne is a member of The Carolina Nature Photographers Association ,Upstate Forever, the Native Plant Society,the Nature Conservancy ,Sierra Club and Trillium Arts Centre in Travelers Rest, South carolina. Her photography has been published in outdoor magazines, calenders, travel brochures and has received first place awards in regional photo competitions. |
