Save Our Saluda
Save Our Saluda (SOS) is a non-profit watershed advocacy group in Northern Greenville and Pickens counties in South Carolina. The SOS mission is "Protecting and Restoring the Saluda watershed through environmental awareness and citizen action". The pristine headwaters of the North, Middle and South Saluda Rivers begin in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North and South Carolina. Due to rapid growth and development in the Southeast and lax South Carolina water laws, these rivers and the tributaries of the Saluda watershed are under constant threats.
